Ok, this is SEM's bio (not me, the character). But its not the same SEM that you all know, or the same one that Ath is married too, its the one thats in my book, that no one but Callie knows, but i'm sure you guys will get along. ^^
Her full name is Aranel Foeseeker, the one born of a dragon and a silver elf. She is over 3,000 years old, and has lived as a slave for the majority of that. Her powers are that of necromancy, telekinesis, firepower, levitation, and psionics. Her main weapon is her falchion, Fallenstar, forged of both dragons bone and of the metal of a fallen star (hence the name). Her other weapons include a pair of scimitars, a magical bow, a dirk, a glaive, Mithril claws, and a short, leaf-bladed spear, but she doesnt carry them all at one time. Basically her only two companions that she trusts fully and completely are Ionn, a black pegasus, and Swift, a draconic silver wolf (he's like her, only half wolf instead of half elf) which is why they get along so well.
Aranel is slender and short, with golden hair that falls down to her lower back. Her eyes are a unique shade of raspberry, with golden flecks in them. Skin tone is pale, but slightly tanner than the rest of her race. Hard scales cover a portion of her back, and a black dragon tattoo curls round her wrist with its open mouth on her palm. Long limbs, and long, slender fingers. She is undeniably beautiful, but an aura of mystery and darkness surrounds her, giving her a slightly eerie appearance. She tends to shy away from wearing any sort of gown, her normal garb being composed of black leather assassins garb, high cut to reveal her tight stomach, with long sleeves that fit to her hands, in order to hide her tattoo. Beneath that, she wears a layer of crystalline chain mail, which cannot be seen by mortal eyes, and it is nearly transparent to anyone else, but hard as dragon scales and fits like a second skin. Her leggings are also black leather, with a few plates of black Mithril set into the shins and thighs. She wears soft calfskin boots that are etched with silver in elegant designs that come up to her mid-calves. Her scimitars are carried across her back, the falchion at her left hip, her dirk, glaive, and throwing stars are tucked along a belt that runs from her left shoulder to right hip. She doesn’t usually carry the spear, but when she does, she wears it strapped across her left shoulder.
Born to a dragon and a silver elf, she was orphaned at infancy, and lived with a Carya named Antai. When she was 15 years old, their village was overrun with raiders, who took Aranel as a prisoner, enraptured by her beauty, after killing Antai. They sold her to a slave trader, who eventually sold her to Prince Kalan, the first son of the queen of the Ailiyans. Over the next two hundred years, a relationship began to form between the two, and it eventually turned to love. Their forbidden romance remained unknown, and both lived quite happily until Kalan died in a Goblin attack. Aranel grieved deeply, and this became the main reason for her bitterness later in life. She was sold back onto the slave route, and remained thrown around from owner to owner for the next two thousand years, until she was finally bought by Jerioth, who freed her and trained her in the art of fighting at the Vahe, a place of secret warriors. On her first mission, to bring the princess of Arrokis to her fiancé, Aenas, the prince of Ablon (and Kalian’s brother), Rhys and the princess elope together, forcing Aranel to take the princess’ place in marriage. During this time (about 4-5 weeks) she looses all hope, for while she is bound to her oaths in the induction into the Vahe, she cannot leave Aenas. Jerioth comes, and together they figure out a way to sever the bond, but that cannot be done without blood sacrifice, so she was forced to murder Aerlaendral, the eldest daughter of the queen, and the only one who had ever been nice to her, in order to break the ties. After this, Jerioth begins to invade her mind, twisting her thoughts, and she is completely oblivious to it, while she sorts out her emotions for Jerioth and the handsome weapons master, Cassius. When Jerioth finally wins over her mind, she is forced to do his will, even though she is still oblivious. Jerioth uses her as his secret weapon, to kill those who stand against him. But Jerioth cannot control who Aranel loves, and she falls in love with Cassius, which gets Jerioth very mad, for he had planned for Aranel to become his queen once he overthrows Airncaya, so he kills Cassius. At this point, Aranel realizes what he has been doing all along, and she breaks away from him, rallying an army to overthrow him and his undead army for good. But Jerioth cannot die, so she banishes him instead. But Jerioth knows that as long as his flesh and blood is on Airncayan soil, he cannot be banished for any longer than twenty years. But he is also the only Necromancer in Airncaya, so Aranel frees him after several years of excruciating torture, to teach her the art of Necromancy, that she might bring Cassius back from the dead. He does teach her, but he also brings Kalian, Aranel’s former love, back to life. . When Aranel realizes that she is with child, though she knows not who it is, Cassius' or Kalian’s, she runs back to her people in the north, in Aziunel. There she finds her father, and learns about her true heritage of being half dragon. When she finally starts to live happily again, and her child is born, a girl named Kelley shows up at her door, and she tries to kill Aranel, but instead, she dies, because Aranel cannot die, being a necromancer. This throws Aranel into a pit of despair, for she had seen too much bloodshed of the innocent at her hands. Both Cassius and Kalian, who had teamed up to find her, eventually find her at the village, and learn of her true heritage as well. Aranel insists that she go around to every person in Airncaya that she has hurt in some way, by killing a friend or loved one, and plead forgiveness, accepting whatever penance they chose to lay upon her. When Kalian asks her whom she loves, when they finally return to Azinuel, Aranel snaps and sends the child away to be fostered among the Shyrayan in the south, hidden from Cassius' and Kalian’s gaze, for they still do not know who’s child it is. Aranel herself goes into hiding as well, disappearing into the mountains, not to be seen for nearly ten years. Kalian goes back to Ablon and reclaims the throne from Aenas (and kills him for touching Aranel) and Cassius becomes a wanderer, traveling from one village to the next, still in search of Aranel or her daughter.
